The Recent Present

Tes, Dark Ramoth's daughter and child of the mercury dragon Testament, has grown strong. Her training with an unnamed Magess, traveling thru worlds and time together, has aged her and gained her an experience that even Ramoth cannot exceed. She is very proud of her daughter, and ever conscious of the higher purpose of her daughter's bloodline. Her daughter is a true keeper of the balance.

Onyx, Dark Ramoth's second daughter and child of DavaStatioN, struggles against the life that is hers both by her mother's will and her own gifts. Onyx is extremely young for a dragon, but plays havoc with local mortals by taking the form of a teenage girl. Her talent for mischief has never sat well with her mother or her older sister, and particularly both vexes and amuses those of authority around her. Onyx shall forever remain a constant worry to her mother.

The MagiKnights formation and upkeep also holds a portion of Ramoth's time. Endless amounts of energy must be spent keeping an eye on the individual knights, making sure they do not get into mischief. She rules them with an iron fist. She created them and she continues to believe that she will destroy them if they too become an un-objective force, more like a clan than Ramoth is comfortable with. Already some of her most prominent members have disbanded from the small group, going off to take what they learned and create their own clans. Disgusted, Ramoth has vowed to control this rifraff, somehow...someway...

"Whatever it takes, they will learn...I have control."

Enter: the Imperial Courts. The current ruler can't just have Lord Mnementh Lazik executed. Because the Imperial Council actually elects the ruler,the leading houses are what make up the council.The ruling House's power has been dwindling over time. Mnementh's House..the House of Lazik, is one of the most powerful. It was responsible for saving and running the Empire thru it's wars. However, at war's end..the traditional ruling house was able to gain a coalition of some of the other houses to regain the throne....

Dark Ramoth, by letting Mnementh Lazik into her home, lost her control over the situation the Magi have found themselves in. Mnementh has taken over, and uses her own troops to continue to do so. And, for the safety of her daughters and her people, Ramoth has consented to align her House to his. Essentially, she has just entered the contention to the throne as well. Mnementh stated recently that he officially adopted Tes into the House of Lazik. By adopting Tes....who is DarkRamoth's daughter-it de facto made the House of Ramoth a House on the Imperial Council.Mnementh plans to use this, and Ramoth's alignment with him, to gain a majority and call for a new throne vote.

But has the Lady of the Magi only been biding her time, toying with the General the entire time?
